NOTICE: CHANGE TO ILLINOIS STATE TAX LIEN AVAILABILITY

On January 1, 2018, the Illinois Department of Revenue revised the way they record State Tax Liens. Previously these liens were recorded at the county level and are now being recorded on a new state registry. At this time, DataTrace® is unable to obtain images or data related to State Tax Liens that are recorded in the new state registry, and it will not be included in our Title Plant data, Plant dates or in DataTrace System (DTS) searches.

You can find Illinois State Tax Lien information online at: http://tax.illinois.gov/#&panel1-4. Select Lien Registry in the left hand column to begin your search.
