In case you missed the news... DataTrace is excited to announce the release of 490 new expansion counties! Your current subscription agreement will govern and provide access to these counties and charges will apply only for the title orders or investigative inquiries created in these counties.

Beginning November 2024, Starter Xchange members can now access, view, and request starter images associated with their property directly from the title chain in the following Indiana and Wisconsin counties:

Indiana: Allen, Cass, Elkhart, Hamilton, Howard, Lake, LaPorte, Marion, Marshall, Porter, Saint Joseph, Tippecanoe.

Wisconsin: Calumet, Dane, La Crosse, Manitowoc, Outagamie, Waupaca, Winnebago

The StaterXchange Service has been enhanced to include the ability to search for starters using the order# only. A type ahead picklist will display with order#, policy date, Title Company code, policy type, policy amount, APN, address, and subdivision name.

DataTrace System (DTS) name results have been updated with a new look to match the title results. Users can now view the certified plant currency date next to the county name, the plant thru date and time, along with new Court House, Statewide Tax Lien, and Federal Bankruptcy dates where available. Applies to all counties except in Southern California and Hawaii.

DataTrace is expanding title plant county coverage in the following U.S. counties: 

• Anchorage, AK – Additional Depth
  DataTrace has released an additional 10 years of plant data in Anchorage, AK. The new data includes geographical data for January 2, 1987, through December 31, 1996. With this addition, our Anchorage plant currently has more than 35 years of data.
  
  
• San Patricio, TX – Additional Data
  The addition of over 85,000 records for San Patricio, including all Deed’s and Oil & Gas Lease’s from 1959 to 1978, is complete. This release allows users to complete more searches online without a secondary search requirement.

DataTrace is expanding its Request Field Information Service (Feet on the Street) for order searches to New Jersey counties in the DataTrace System (DTS) application. The Request Field Information Service fulfills the need for specific title examination record types only available from the local government agency office.

The Request Field Information Service will be available from within DTS for New Jersey counties. In addition, the Request Field Information Service will be limited to Order searches (No Investigative Orders).

The new report contains current ownership information (updated daily with new transfers) and the full set of detailed property location attributes (APN, address & legal description) for users to quickly verify the correct title search before proceeding with running the title chain.

DataTrace System (DTS) now filters by the alpha character subdivision name in LA County Name Tract service. When the alpha character is present in the tract field, the system filters search results based on the entered alpha character and returns records with blank tract.

This feature removes the extra steps of starting the search in Property Taxes to verify the property – especially in static tax counties where the tax information is not the most current.
